You’ve heard of the Nigerian movie, Okafor’s law that premiered in 2017, where a man seemed to believe he could awaken the dead bones of the relationships with 3 of his exes in 21 days.
However, before this movie, there existed a law on relationships called ‘Okafor’s law’ or ‘Okafor’s law of congodynamics’.

What is Okafor’s Law?
Okafor’s law states that “If a guy has been involved with a girl for a while, and he performed well in the bedroom, he has a high chance of sleeping with her, again and again, irrespective of the present conditions such as a breakup or the presence of a new lover.”
Simply put, “a girl is too weak to say no to a man who slept with her and gave her a great experience, even if they are done and dusted.”

Is Okafor’s law real?
There is the complexity of human behaviour that makes it difficult to explain and predict it with high accuracy, but over time human behaviour can be studied, observed and general underlying principles can be derived.
As for Okafor’s law, how real is it?
Some guys are fanatics of this law, calling upon their inclinations and experiences as strong evidence. Some have gone ahead to write a mathematical representation for it:

“This means that once a ‘Congo’ has been shined once (C1), it can always be shined (C∞) provided it was shined properly (P) the previous times.”
What do the ladies say?
Some ladies have given their honest opinions in approving the existence of this law, saying that it works because:
A woman would prefer to sex up someone they have slept with before since it keeps their body count constant.
They would rather go back to a known person than begin the process of opening up to someone new and getting heartbroken again.
They tend to believe it is merely a harmless rendezvous and both partners can agree to keep it as such.
Are there arguments against Okafor’s law?
Of course! Not everyone supports the law; some people argue that it might only be a hypothesis and at best a theory, given that human behaviour cannot be widely predicted.
Also, the law does not take into account certain limiting factors and variables such as marital status, financial status and difference in class, moral standards, and the state in which the relationship ended.
Is there some logic to the law?
Guys who did great in a sexual experience can, have, and will repeat it again and again after the relationship ends. It holds true because ladies who become vulnerable to guys to the point of having sex with them will always remain vulnerable to them.
It is also true that some people never heal after a broken relationship and so never really move on, thus, the residual emotional bond between both gives the guy an edge when he comes asking for some sugar.
The singular factor of incredible sex can make it difficult for the girl to resist because her mind has been exercised to accept the person and will reproduce the emotions attached to those sexual moments, given the right circumstances.
The law may not be entirely conclusive or marked as a rigid standard, but it is not unfounded.

Is this law applicable to guys too?
