Tope Alabi

 

Alabi Patricia Temitope popularly known as Tope Alabi was born in Lagos State, October 27, 1970.

 

The famous Yoruba gospel singer started her music career in 2001, when she sang the popular “ore ti o common”.  Since then, she has released lots of albums and single tracks.

 

In May 2019, Tope was crowned the ‘Queen of Yoruba Language’. She was also invited by various film producers for their sound tracks. So far she has made about 350 sound tracks for several Yoruba films. Her awards includes;

 

·         City People Movie’s Best Sound Track Artiste of the Year, in 2017.

 

·         Nigeria Entertainment Award for Gospel Artist of the Year, 2015 and lots more.

 

She is happily married with two kids. Her songs has over the years won many souls to Christ and has been a source of strength to the weak.

She is commonly known as a multi-dimensional singer whose genre of songs involves folks, soul and gospel music.

 

She is also a counselor and a consultant and well known for making sound tracks for Yoruba movies.

Lara George

 

Omolara George is both a citizen of Nigeria and America. She is a US-based Nigeria gospel musician.

 

She is also a song writer, a producer and a legal practitioner. Her songs and albums have won her many awards like:

 

·         Voice of the Year, Nigeria Music Awards in 2008

 

·         Best Vocals Performance (female) in the Industry Wide in 2010.

 

·         She became the winner of the Best African Female Gospel Artiste Category at the 2011 African Gospel Music Awards held in London.

Bola Are

 

Bola Are dedicated her music talent to the service of God. She started singing at a very young age, serving the Lord.

 

She was the former President of the Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria. She owns a music band in her ministry known as Bola and Her Spiritual Singers.

 

Some of her albums from the year 1965-2000 are; Baba Kuse, Jesus is Coming Back Be Ready, Lion of Judah, Oore Ofe, Power in Praise and so on.

 

She is equally married although now a widow with lovely children.

 

Dunni Olanrewaju

 

Opelope Anointing as she is popularly called started her music career way back in the 90s, 1998 precisely. However, she got famous after the release of “Opelope Anointing” album.

 

In 2010, she founded the Opelope Anointing Foundation, which is a Non-Government Charity Initiative. She has a daughter and proudly a grandmother.

 

Funmi Aragbaye

 

Funmi started singing officially in 1983. She is a singer, song writer and also a televangelist. Her songs includes: Glory of God, Good Portion and so on.

 

Kunle Ajayi

 

Kunle is a talented gospel singer that was born a Muslim. Aside singing and writing songs, he is also a saxophonist, a televangelist and a director of music at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Joseph Adebayo

 

Also a televangelist and a song writer, Joseph started his career into gospel songs way back in 1984. And so far has released lots of songs like Emmanuel ti de, Okan mi bale, Bami se Jesu, Amina Tete maa bo, Gboro mi rot, Ilekun Anu and lots more.
