About The Church

Salvation Ministries is one of the top leading churches in Nigeria. The church was founded by the vibrant Nigerian televangelist, Pastor David Ibiyomie, who also happens to be one of the spiritual sons of Bishop David Oyedepo.

The church is headquartered at Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, from where it streams all of its services across the nation and beyond.

Speaking of Salvation Ministries Pastor, David Ibiyomie had his Primary school education at Banham Primary School and his secondary education at Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Borikiri, Rivers State.

In 1980, he got an admission to study at the prestigious University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt City, after which he proceeded to Bishop David Oyedepo’s Word of Faith Bible Institute for his theological education.

Having finished from Bible School, he started Salvation Ministries on the 13th of April, 1997, at  Port Harcourt. Prior to this, he ran a house fellowship for a short time in his house at Victoria Island in Lagos State before moving to Port Harcourt.

The church has since then grown into one of the mega churches in Nigeria today.
